The official list below shows reserved time periods, not confirmed exams. Please check with your instructor if your course will be taking its final exam in this period.

Locations


The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please refer to the individual exam pages for more information regarding exam content, exam rules and conditions, and other guidelines. If you require special accommodations because of chronic illness, visual or hearing impairment, or any other disability make contact with the exam provider and provide detailed documentation when registering.

The Faculty Dashboard in Workday offers the option of "View My Teaching Schedule" that allows faculty to locate their exam schedules. In addition the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for classes where an exam is required by NYSED regulations. Final exams for evening classes are scheduled during the regular class time of the final exam weeks.

Registration

Students are encouraged to look up the exam schedule online. It is important to remember that the final schedule of exams may change at any moment. Students should therefore consult their instructors for the correct date and time of their exam. Students should also be sure to print the official list and bring it with them for their exams.

Students should also familiarize themselves with the rules and conditions of the exam, in addition to the schedule. These are on the website for each exam. After registering, students acknowledge that they agree to these terms and conditions.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate participants who have special needs. The nature and the extent of these requirements should be declared on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. Additionally, the exam locations must respect and maintain confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three exams scheduled on the same day, it is suggested to contact their instructor or department to arrange an exam to make up. Although it is possible to take three tests in one day, it could result in a high stress level and can affect the quality of the exam. In addition, the professor may not be able to offer a makeup exam on a different day.

Students must go through their course materials prior to taking the test and work on their German skills. Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain a Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you will need to pay the examination fee. This is in addition to the cost of the course.

Practice tests give you an overview of the format of the questions, their wording and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They help you assess your knowledge, identify gaps and improve your chances of acing the test.

It is important to note that the exam fee is not refundable. The results of the examination can only be accessed via email and not by telephone.
